A guitar and bass amp console built on real neural amp capture (NAM), not a hand-EQ'd approximation of one. Dual-amp rack, real cabs, and a rig library that's actually yours. Runs on its own, or downstream of SmashBoard as one signal path.
Guitar gets a dual-amp A/B rack with independent cabs and IRs per amp. Bass runs its own chain: a preamp stage into one-knob optical compression on the way in, then a Linkwitz-Riley 4th-order three-way split after the cab, with its own voicing, drive and level per band and crossover points you can move. Any single band can be routed through the amp capture slot on its own. Leave the bands alone and the crossover is bypassed bit-exact, so it never colours a path you didn't ask it to. Neither instrument is a reskin of the other wearing a different colour.
Snapshot four full rig setups, amps, pedals, cab, everything, into the footer strip and flip between them mid-song. Map SCENE_SELECT to a MIDI pedal and you never touch the mouse.
A built-in tuner sits at the front of the chain and always reads your real input pitch. Drop-tune in real time, no re-string required, a pitch-locked shift window keeps the tone honest instead of comb-filtering into something darker and smaller, the way most real-time pitch shifters do. Gate keeps noise and hum out before it hits the amp model. If SmashBoard is already dropping the signal upstream, this DROP bows out on its own.
Drop in any Neural Amp Modeler capture and step through your library with prev/next arrows. On captures that support it, Gain becomes a genuine playing-dynamics condition, not just a pre-gain trim, the display shows which mode a loaded capture supports.
Each amp in the rack loads its own cab: Modern 4x12, Brit 2x12, Tweed 1x12, or your own impulse response, Cab Blend can run any amp fully Direct at 0%. A 5-band EQ (100/400/800/2k/4k, ±12dB) shapes the final tone.
A built-in TONE3000 browser lets you search, favourite, and download NAM captures directly into your local My Tones library. My Rigs does the same for full rig setups, with Find Rig browsing to dig through what you've saved.
Clean, Crunch, Lead, Modern Metal, and DI Direct set the console's knob state, the amp's actual tone still comes from whatever capture is loaded. Save your own full presets to build a personal library.
Put SmashBoard's DROP module ahead of No Stairway on the same track and the console notices. It greys out its own DROP and passes the already-shifted signal straight through, so nothing gets pitch-shifted twice and there is no argument about which plugin owns the tuning. Turn the board's DROP off and the console takes it back on its own.
No Stairway is in development, the amp block, cabs, tone stack, and TONE3000 browser are built. Pricing and a release window aren't set yet. Pairs naturally with SmashBoard, the pedals feed the amp. Get on the list and we'll email you when there's more to see.
