The standard transient and balloon-pop captures, using nothing but your iPhone's built-in mic, aren't trying to be a scientific measurement. They're meant to hand you a real, characterful space you can shape and push around in Foundwaves.
Planned: a calibrated sine-sweep capture for an accurate, lab-grade impulse response, coming as a future in-app upgrade, for when you need the real measurement, not just the character.
Tag each capture with a photo, so a library of spaces stays organized by what they were, not just a filename.
Export a .foundwaves file and load it directly into Foundwaves back at the studio, or share a capture with someone else running the plugin.
Most convolution reverbs ship with a fixed library of spaces someone else recorded. Foundwaves Capture lets you build a library out of spaces that actually matter to you.
