Plenty of EQs know what key you are in. Chameleon Panther tracks the note itself, and puts its bands on that note's harmonics as it moves.
Four bands sit on chosen partials of the detected fundamental. The bass moves from G to C, the bands move with it.
A sweeping band is a sweeping phase response, so no band sits in the signal path. Boost only, tapped off the dry and summed back in.
Wet added equally to both channels is identical to adding it to Mid alone. The sides come back bit-exact.
Chroma analysis finds the key across the full band; a separate tracker on the mono sum places the bands.
